Remember those yummy orange Creamsicles we all loved as kids? This creamy smoothie captures the creamy orange and vanilla essence of those beloved popsicles in a healthy morning smoothie. For a more frosty or light smoothie, substitute one cup of ice (5 cubes) for the second cup of frozen mango.
This recipe appears in the cookbook, “Cooking with Trader Joe’s: Dinner’s Done!”

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vanilla Nonfat Yogurt
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups frozen Mango Chunks (or use 1 cup frozen Mango Chunks + 1 cup ice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and garnish with an orange slice.

Notes

Vanilla Nonfat Yogurt is a sweetened yogurt. If you prefer to use plain yogurt, add agave nectar or sugar for a sweeter taste.
